Swita Charanasomboon is the current Director of Marketing for APAC at Taboola. Swita has been with the company since April of 2019 and in their current role for just over a year. Prior to their current position, they served as the Head of Marketing for APAC at Taboola from July 2016 to March 2020. Before that, they were the Regional Business Segment Leader- East Asia & Australia at Michelin from January 2015 to June 2016. From November 2012 to December 2014, they were the Portfolio Strategy Manager (US Sales & Marketing) at The Dannon Company and before that, the Associate Brand Manager (US Company Marketing) at Colgate Palmolive from August 2010 to November 2012. Swita began their career as a Senior Analyst at McKinsey & Company from June 2004 to May of 2008.
Swita Charanasomboon holds a MBA from the University of Pennsylvania - The Wharton School, a MA from The Lauder Institute also at the University of Pennsylvania, and a BA from Bates College. Swita also studied abroad for a semester at Center for University Programs Abroad (CUPA) in Paris and holds an IB Diploma from Ruamrudee International School (RIS) in Bangkok Thailand.
They are on a team with Meaghan Coffey - Senior Product Marketing Manager, Kaya Glinski - Marketing Manager, DACH, and Ran Tanaka - Marketing Manager. Swita Charanasomboon reports to Ran Gishri, VP, Marketing.
