Morteza Saidi

Morteza Saidi has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Morteza co-founded and served as the COO of Táche Pistachio Milk starting in 2019. Prior to that, they founded Sieva Wireless in 2009 where they served as the VP of Engineering. At Sieva Wireless, they developed wireless applications and new products, including an Electronic Shelf Label platform for retail spaces. Morteza also made presentations to major retail organizations. From 2006 to 2008, they worked as the VP of Engineering at WJ Communications, where they managed engineering operations and developed numerous products in power amplifiers and PCMCIA reader cards. Morteza also successfully transferred internal processes to a Southern California fab. In 2003, they founded S-Communications and served as the CEO, leading the development of DVB-H technology and securing seed money for the company. Morteza also managed IP planning and secured IP for potential licensing use. From 2000 to 2003, they co-founded and served as the CTO/VP of Resonext Communications, where they raised significant funding, recruited engineers, and designed chipsets for wireless communication. Prior to that, they worked at VLSI Technology as the Director of RF Development, where they developed RF products for the cellular handset market. Morteza also worked at Philips Semiconductor as a Wireless Product Manager from 1980 to 1998. Overall, Morteza Saidi has held various leadership roles and has extensive experience in product development, engineering management, fundraising, and IP management in the technology industry.

Morteza Saidi's education history reveals that they began their studies in 1972 at the University of Michigan, pursuing a degree in M.S electrical engineering with a specialization in electronics. Morteza completed this program in 1978. During their time at the University of Michigan, they also obtained a degree in MSEE (Master of Science in Electrical Engineering) from 1974 to 1978, focusing on the field of study in electrical engineering.
