Naomi Wilson, MPH, currently serves as the Community Assessment Director at the Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department, a position held since 2018. Wilson has a diverse background in public health and education, having previously worked as a Substitute Teacher for Tacoma Public Schools and as a Research Analyst at DHA Connected Health. Academic experience includes roles as a Research Specialist in Education at the University of Washington and a Clinical Researcher in Neurology at Harborview Medical Center. Additional roles at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, the University of Washington, Group Health, and the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation position Wilson as a knowledgeable leader in public health initiatives. Currently pursuing a Doctorate of Public Health at the University of Illinois Chicago, Wilson holds an MPH with a focus on Public Health Policy and a BA in Philosophy from the University of Washington.
