Hiran Alwis

Hiran Alwis is an experienced automotive professional with a diverse background in mechanical technology and education. Currently serving as a Lecturer at TAFE SA since June 2024, Hiran previously worked as an EV & Light Vehicle Trainer & Assessor at the Motor Trade Association of SA/NT, where expertise in hybrid and electric vehicle operations was developed. Hiran's career includes roles such as Workshop Foreman at Eagers Automotive Limited, Service Manager at Al Sayegh Auto Repairs, and Assistant Workshop Manager at BMW Group Asia, demonstrating a strong emphasis on workshop management and technical support. With a solid educational foundation, including a Master's in Business Administration and a Diploma in Training Design and Development, Hiran continues to contribute significantly to the evolving automotive industry through training and education.
