Meredith Schellin

Director, Creative at TAG Strategies

Meredith Schellin has extensive work experience in various roles in the field of communications and media. Meredith is currently working as the Director of Creative at TAG Strategies, starting in January 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Creative Content at the Republican Governors Association from July 2021 to January 2023.

Schellin also has experience working in the U.S. House of Representatives, where they held the positions of Committee on Ways and Means Digital Director from June 2019 to July 2021, and Digital Advisor and Deputy Press Secretary from June 2018 to June 2019.

Meredith has also worked in the private sector as an Account Manager at Acquire Digital, LLC from December 2017 to June 2018. In this role, they managed the development and implementation of digital messaging for clients seeking public offices and was responsible for drafting various types of content.

Earlier in their career, Schellin had the opportunity to work as a Staff Assistant for the United States Senate, where they handled tasks such as writing personal mail on behalf of the Senate Majority Leader, scheduling, and assisting with policy-related matters. Meredith also served as a Legislative Intern for Senator Mitch McConnell.

Schellin's experience extends beyond political roles. Meredith worked as a Public Relations and Government Relations Communications Intern at the International Justice Mission, where they developed and managed projects, wrote content and press releases, and attended meetings on Capitol Hill.

Additionally, Schellin held multiple positions at Asbury University, including Editor in Chief of a student publication, Senior Student Ambassador, and Senior News Editor. In these roles, they managed a staff, planned large events, gave tours to visitors, and wrote and edited articles.

Furthermore, Schellin briefly worked as a Camera Operator and Reporter at NBC News.

Meredith Schellin attended Asbury University from 2011 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Journalism & Digital Storytelling. During their time at Asbury University, they also focused on Political Science, emphasizing in that particular field.
