Claire Hughes

Claire Hughes has a wealth of experience in marketing, business development, and corporate partnerships. Claire began their career in 2003 as an Account Director at TradeDoubler Ltd, where they were responsible for building relationships with key agency partners and managing key clients. In 2011, they co-founded Handmade Horizons, a marketing training program for creative business owners. From 2014-2017, they held the roles of Marketing Director at Papertrail.io and Yumbles, respectively. In 2016, they served as Digital Transformation and Digital Communications Lead for The Labour Party. In 2018, they became Business Development Director for Frontgrid, where they worked on their flagship immersive entertainment experience, ParadropVR. In 2020, they co-founded Space Republic trading as Pluto, where they held the role of Head of Growth. Currently, they are Head of Growth (Interim) at Tahdah Verified Ltd.

Claire Hughes obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree from Cardiff University in 2000, majoring in Journalism, Film and Broadcasting and graduating with a 2:1. Claire also attended Ysgol Aberconwy in Conwy from 1990 to 1999. In 2021, they began their MSC in Psychology of Mental Health & Wellbeing at the University of Wolverhampton. In April 2022, they obtained a certification in Web3 Marketing from Third Academy.
