Chris Ray has a wide range of work experience. Chris currently holds a role at Muscogee (Creek) Nation Casinos, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they worked for Muscogee (Creek) Nation as the Gaming Operations Authority Board Chairman since 2008. Chris has also held positions at various schools, including Tahlequah Public Schools as the Head Softball Coach and Title VI / JOM Coordinator since 2018, Morris Public Schools as the Director of Federal Programs and Head Softball Coach from 2015 to 2018, Henryetta Public Schools as the Head Softball Coach and Athletic Director from 2013 to 2015, and Weleetka High School as the Head Softball Coach and Teacher from 2004 to 2013.

Chris Ray's education history includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Legal Studies, General from East Central University, which was attained between 1992 and 1994. Prior to that, from 1990 to 1992, Chris attended New Mexico Highlands University and studied General Studies without attaining a degree. Later, from 2001 to 2004, Chris pursued a Doctor of Law - JD degree from The University of Tulsa College of Law.
