Catherine Lasko

Catherine Lasko has over 20 years of work experience. Catherine began their career as a Research Associate/Post-Doctoral Fellow at Case Western Reserve University, where they conducted experimental paradigms and delivered presentations on various research topics. Catherine then worked as a Sessional Instructor at the University of Manitoba, teaching introductory nutrition to students from various faculties.

In 2000, Catherine joined GlaxoSmithKline as a Vaccine Specialist, where they achieved top sales results and managed direct order vaccine accounts. Catherine later became an Oncology Territory Manager, responsible for developing and implementing business plans to exceed oncology and hematology sales targets. Catherine also provided leadership and collaboration with colleagues in sales, marketing, and medical departments.

Catherine then joined Boehringer Ingelheim as an Oncology Therapeutic Specialist, where they executed sales plans and developed presentations in collaboration with the medical division. Catherine consistently interacted with various stakeholders and played a leadership role within the organization.

In 2016, Catherine transitioned to Bristol-Myers Squibb as an Oncology Key Account Manager, focusing on key accounts and managing relationships with healthcare professionals.

Most recently, Catherine joined Taiho Oncology Inc as a Clinical Science Associate, where they are involved in clinical science initiatives and responsibilities.

Throughout their career, Catherine has demonstrated expertise in oncology, strong sales performance, and effective collaboration with colleagues in the pharmaceutical industry.

Catherine Lasko has a strong educational background in the field of nutritional sciences. Catherine completed their Bachelor of Human Ecology degree at the University of Manitoba from 1988 to 1992. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Nutritional Sciences at the same institution, which they successfully completed from 1992 to 1997. During their doctoral studies, Catherine also undertook a Post Doctoral Fellowship in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Case Western Reserve University from 1997 to 1999.
