Mark Lanigan

Senior Advisor at Tailwind Capital

Mr. Lanigan assists Tailwind in sourcing, evaluating and performing due diligence on healthcare and business services opportunities. Mr. Lanigan serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Lone Peak and serves on the Board of Directors of Material+.

Mr. Lanigan has almost 30 years of M&A, strategic advisory and private investment experience. In 2004, Mr. Lanigan co-founded Black Canyon Capital, a mid-market provider of private equity and debt. Prior to founding Black Canyon, Mr. Lanigan was the Co-Head of the Los Angeles Investment Banking Department of Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) and a member of the Investment Banking Executive Board. Prior to CSFB, Mr. Lanigan was the Head of the Los Angeles office of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette.

Mr. Lanigan currently serves on the Board of Directors of JDC Healthcare and Malibu Boats (NASDAQ: MBUU). He previously served on the Board of Directors of a number of companies, including Virgin America, Archway Marketing Services, Tasi Holdings, and Saunders & Associates.

Mr. Lanigan began his career in investment banking at Drexel Burnham Lambert. Mr. Lanigan received a JD degree from Harvard Law School, an MBA from Harvard Business School, and a BA degree summa cum laude from Colgate University.
