Dirk Dobbins

Dirk Dobbins has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position as the VP of Sales Engineering and IT at TailWind Voice & Data since December 2022. Prior to this, they were the Director of Sales Engineering at the same company from June 2018 to December 2022.

Before joining TailWind Voice & Data, Dirk founded their own venture called 5AL1VE Designs in August 2016. 5AL1VE Designs focused on assisting small fishing tackle "makers" in developing ideas and alternative product offerings for increased sales and market penetration. Dirk led this venture until June 2018.

Earlier in their career, Dirk worked as a Sales Engineer II at inContact from September 2014 to August 2016. Dirk also served as a Sales Engineer at Black Box Network Services from November 2012 to September 2014.

Before their roles in sales engineering, Dirk worked at Direct Source, where they were a New Business Development Manager from January 2012 to November 2012. Dirk also served as a Project Manager at the same company from June 2011 to January 2012.

Lastly, Dirk started their career at Comm-Works, where they held two positions. Dirk was the Sales Engineering Manager from June 2005 to June 2011 and the Large National Project Manager from July 2001 to June 2005.

Dirk Dobbins received their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree from Western Colorado University, where they studied Business Administration and Management, General. In addition to their degree, Dirk obtained various certifications including RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) from BICSI.
