Senior Sustainability Consultant at Taitem

Courtney provides consulting and technical support to project teams on sustainable building design and offers full-service LEED certification project management from inception through certification. Her LEED project experience covers all USGBC LEED rating systems. Notable recent projects include Flushing Commons, a multi-use development in Flushing NY, Carmel Place, a modular “micro-unit” multifamily residence in NYC, and executing the certification process for a LEED for Homes Platinum single-family residence. She also managed the certification process for Taitem’s Ithaca office, achieving LEED-EB Platinum status. Courtney consults on a wide range of buildings, including commercial, residential, and multifamily, and offers expertise in eQUEST energy modeling. Aside from her consulting work, she is currently the project manager for a new construction zero-energy multifamily building. Courtney holds a BA in Business Management from Western Michigan University, an MS in Energy Management from the New York Institute of Technology, and a Certificate in Green Building Design from Cooper Union in New York City. Courtney became a LEED AP in 2008 and a LEED for Homes Green Rater in 2017.
