Shamel Qardan

Shamel Qardan has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Shamel began their career in 1998 as the General Manager at Direct Sales Maximum (DSMAX). Later, they joined American Life Insurance Company, where they served as the Agency Executive in Egypt from 1999 to 2005 and then as the Agency Director, Bank Assurance, Broker, and Direct Agency from 2005 to 2010. In 2010, Shamel became the Executive Board Member and Chief Executive Officer at DERAYA INSURANCE BROKERS, holding these positions until 2021. During their tenure at DERAYA, they were also a Board Member at DERAYA INSURANCE BROKERS - KSA. Most recently, Shamel Qardan joined Takaful Emarat-Insurance (P.S.C) in 2020 as the Director of Direct Business for Corporate and Agency segments.

Shamel Qardan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Public Administration from the University of Jordan.
