Varun Sundarkumar

Varun Sundarkumar is currently a Staff Engineer in Synthetic Molecule Process Development at Takeda since August 2023. Prior to this role, Varun completed a PhD in Chemical Engineering at Purdue University from August 2019 to August 2023. Varun's earlier experience includes a Process Intern position at Jacobs Engineering India Private Limited, focusing on Detail Engineering for a Viscose Rayon Manufacturing Facility, as well as an IAS SRPF Fellowship at the Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute, where Varun developed a technique to enhance water flux in TFC RO Membranes. Additionally, Varun conducted market analysis as a Summer Intern at Rosefield DAA International Consultancy LLP. Varun holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Institute of Chemical Technology.
