David Pelter is the current CEO at Takeflite. David has also previously worked as the VP Product Management & Business Intelligence (BI) at The Seattle Times and as the Head of Global Product Management at Amazon Student.

David has led a comprehensive overhaul of product management and business intelligence functions at The Seattle Times. David has also implemented Agile while simultaneously installing/replacing multiple technology platforms including content management (WordPress), mobile responsive design, analytics (Google Analytics), ad serving (DFP/Doubleclick for Publishers), advertising yield management (Yieldex), A/B testing (Optimizely), personalization (Outbrain), and CRM (SalesForce) systems.

At Amazon, David led WW product efforts for Amazon Prime Student, a 1M+ member paid loyalty program designed to instill early brand preference of 18 to 25 year-olds. David managed a team of 4 senior product managers focused on increasing member acquisition and implementing new product features for US, Germany, Japan, and UK programs. David also owned and executed the product roadmap; directed the efforts of 11 member offshore agile development team consisting of 8 software developers and 3 quality assurance resources.

David Pelter received their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business in the field of business administration and management. David then went on to receive their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Washington University in St. Louis - Olin Business School in finance & marketing.
