José Vicente Aguerrevere is the co-founder, chairman, and CEO of Takeoff Technologies. José was previously an entrepreneur in residence at Harvard Business School from January 2016 to December 2016. From July 2005 to December 2015, they were the co-founder and CEO of Practimercados díadía, an innovative business platform dedicated to efficiently distributing food, financial services, and other basic categories to low income sectors with great convenience at very competitive prices. From January 2001 to December 2001, they worked as a mergers and acquisitions associate in the investment banking department of Merrill Lynch's European division. From August 1997 to July 2005, they worked as a principal for Booz Allen Hamilton, helping a variety of companies throughout Latin America and the Caribbean define business strategies, diagnose improvement opportunities, and realize them. José has primarily focused on consumer products and retail industries.

José Vicente Aguerrevere has a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar.
