Elina W. is an experienced human resources professional with a strong background in people operations, payroll, and employee benefits. Currently serving as the Director of People at Tala since May 2019, Elina plays a key role in facilitating financial inclusion through mobile technology and data science. Prior experience includes various HR leadership roles at SolarReserve, overseeing HR operations for over 100 employees across multiple countries, and enhancing employee engagement and compliance. Elina also worked at Alliance College-Ready Public Schools, where complex HR functions were managed for 400+ employees, and at The Los Angeles Film School, focusing on recruitment and employee development. In addition, Elina co-founded ThankMoo and holds educational qualifications from UCLA Extension and Century College.
