Jimmy Gathage

Jimmy Gathage is an experienced technology professional currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Tala since May 2022 and an Entrepreneur at Antler since September 2021. In addition to these roles, Jimmy is a Chapter Leader at the OWASP Foundation since February 2021. Previously, as a Principal Consultant at 2Bar Systems, responsibilities included designing and implementing cybersecurity and software security programs. At Eclectics Intl., Jimmy served as the Head of Information Security, successfully establishing a cybersecurity division and leading various fintech initiatives. With a strong foundation in software integration, project management, and mobile development, Jimmy has contributed to diverse ventures in the technology space, including founding an open-source consultancy and developing applications for key telecommunications companies. Jimmy holds a degree in Business Information Technology from Strathmore University.
