Basak Sen Sasal

Basak joins talabat from Careem where she spent her past six years; leading global logistics and expansion projects across all verticals and overseeing Careem’s Super App transition strategy operationally.

Prior to Careem, Basak was the GM at SnapSights, embarking on her entrepreneurial journey where she co-founded the company with the local venture capital firm; Al Tamimi Investments.

She has worked across different markets ranging from the MENATP, South America, and Europe throughout her professional journey starting with Deloitte, Groupon, and finally Careem.

At talabat, she is in charge of the big bets in the Quick Commerce (Q-Comm) team while also keeping a close eye on overall Q-Comm verticals’ performance as well as various special projects to improve customer experience, growth, and bottom-line profitability.
