Byron Tudhope

Byron Tudhope has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Byron currently serves as a Senior Engineering Manager at talabat, where they lead the Customer Retention Domain and was previously responsible for the Ordering Domain and the Cart and Checkout Squad. Prior to this, they co-founded Seedschool in 2017 and held the position of Co-Founder until 2024. In addition, Byron has served as the Chief Technology Officer at Emerge Gaming Ltd, where they expanded the technical team and scaled the platform to over a million users. Byron also worked as the Head of Technology at PLP Group from 2019 to 2021. Earlier in their career, Byron held various roles such as Chief Executive Officer at TCT Digital, Lead Architect at Hey Jude App, and Lead Developer at Lava Lamp. Byron began their career as a Developer at OnNet and Evason Software Solutions.

Byron Tudhope attended the University of Pretoria from 2009 to 2012, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, which remains incomplete.
