Ari Szarf has had a successful career in the business and finance industry. Ari began their career in 2007 as a Financial Consultant at CPA Ferrere, where they designed the input for development of financial statement projection software and installed the software at five banks, training over 50 bank staff members. From 2008 to 2012, they worked at Lloyds TSB as an Assistant VP Credit & Risk and then as a VP Credit & Risk. During this time, they identified opportunities for expansion into untapped markets, developed automated processes for review of interest charges of default clients, and enhanced valuation models and forecast processes. In 2012, they became a Summer Associate at Citi, where they designed strategies for different target segments of the “Cash Back” cards’ portfolio and developed a strategy for customers with 0% APR. From 2013 to 2015, they were the Revenue Management Consulting Manager at LAN Airlines, where they led the PMO Connectivity Project, led pre-fusion politics study between Lan and Tam, and designed a strategy to increase market share versus one of their main competitors. From 2015 to 2017, they were the Manager of the Business Intelligence division at BBVA Chile. In 2017, they became the Regional Productivity Manager at Sodimac and then in 2019, they founded and became the Managing Partner of Premalen IPO Investment Fund. In 2022, they became the Chief Growth and Expansion Officer at Talana.

Ari Szarf completed an MBA from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business in 2013, with a focus in Business. Ari also obtained a Certified Public Accountant degree from Universidad de Montevideo between 2004 and 2007.
