Vanessa Caron

Vanessa Caron is a seasoned professional in environmental and regulatory compliance, currently serving as Senior Manager of Regional Regulatory Compliance at Talen Energy since May 2019. In this role, Vanessa leads the compliance program for three generation facilities in the Northeast, ensuring adherence to over 300 environmental regulations, safety protocols, and electric reliability standards. Prior to Talen Energy, Vanessa held positions as Plant Engineer at Tenaska and Compliance Coordinator at NAES Corporation, focusing on environmental performance and compliance in power generation. Vanessa's expertise also includes managing environmental operations at Eversource Energy and providing engineering support for landfill closure projects at Malcolm Pirnie. Vanessa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
