Godwin Nwalozie has been in the tech industry for over 17 years. In 2004, they began their career as an Intern for the Standards Organisation of Nigeria, where they maintained and documented correspondence for standards via email and phone with ISO and other National Standard organizations, conducted Internet research, filing, downloading, and documenting, and received ISO quality management system training. In 2008, they became a Business Support Officer for NITA, providing operational and administrative support for smooth running of the business to meet clients expectations. Godwin then moved on to SIAO in 2009, where they were a National Project Coordinator for Nigeria, leading efforts to drive financial and digital literacy awareness for unbanked population across Nigeria. In 2011, they joined IBM as an Enterprise Business Operations Manager for IBM Central East and West Africa, where they were a trusted business advisor for operations and revenue strategy. Godwin was then promoted to Country Sales Operations Manager for West Africa, where they were responsible for ensuring operational and sales excellence across the enterprise units in the three regions. Finally, in 2021, they joined Devdera Services Limited as an Operations and Data Analytics Consultant, helping businesses establish viable operational frameworks to drive efficiency and customer success by utilizing data analytics and tools to improve overall value for ROI. Currently, they are the Head of Operations for TalentQL (Techstars '21), where their role entails collaborating with TalentQL teams to design transformational initiatives, agile process analytics and comprehensive strategies to meet market demands for quality and employable tech talents.
Godwin Nwalozie's education history includes a Bachelor of Technology in Project Management from the Federal University of Technology Owerri Nigeria, which they obtained between 2000 and 2005.
