Darren Corrie

Darren Corrie is an experienced mine geologist with a comprehensive background in mining operations and laboratory management. Currently serving as a Mine Geologist at Talison Lithium since November 2022, Darren has previously worked at Karara Mining Ltd and Mt Gibson Iron, specializing in open pit magnetite and hematite operations. Key responsibilities have included safety management, QA/QC, grade control, mentoring, mine mapping, production tracking, mine development, reconciliation, and geotechnical management. Prior to these roles, Darren worked at Golder Associates as a Senior Material Technician, overseeing testing and analysis in compliance with Australian Standards, and has held managerial positions at Corrie Geoscience Pty Ltd and Western Geotechnics Group Pty Ltd. Darren holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Curtin University.
