Ricky Myrick

Ricky Myrick has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. In their most recent role as Vice President of Business Development at Talitrix, they are focused on revolutionizing the criminal justice industry through the creation of a 21st-century solution suite. Prior to this, Ricky worked as a Consultant at NoteActive and as the Chief Operating Officer at Hawk's Ear Communications. Ricky also owned Overwatch Consulting, LLC.

However, their most extensive experience comes from their tenure at the Georgia Department of Corrections, where they held various positions of increasing responsibility. As Chief of Staff, they were responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the department, which has a large annual budget and thousands of employees. Before that, Ricky served as Assistant Commissioner, overseeing multiple prisons, transitional centers, treatment facilities, and detention centers. Ricky also directed the Office of Professional Standards, managing various investigative units and units responsible for compliance and audits. Ricky's earlier experience includes serving as a Chief Investigator in the Fugitive Unit and as a Group Supervisor in the US Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force. Ricky began their career as a correctional officer and worked their way up to fill leadership roles within the corrections system.

Ricky Myrick holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree in Public Administration from Columbus State University. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and an Associate of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Thomas University.
