Katie Veeninga

Katie Veeninga, MLIS, serves as the HLS Engagement Director at Talkdesk since September 2025. Previously, Katie held the position of Principal Strategist - Healthcare at Vervint, where the focus was on developing go-to-market strategies and managing client relationships from January 2024 to September 2025. At Kin + Carta, as Principal Data Strategist and Healthcare Vertical Lead, Katie led the development of the healthcare vertical and managed a $10M budget. Katie’s prior experience includes various roles at Cambia Health Solutions, culminating in positions such as Assistant Director of Emerging Products Program Management, where strategic plans were executed across several markets during the pandemic. Starting as the first Risk Management Analyst at Kaiser Permanente, Katie advanced to build a team for a digital patient safety management program. Currently pursuing a PhD in Information Studies at Dominican University, Katie also holds a Master’s in Library and Information Science from San José State University and a Bachelor’s in Philosophy from Portland State University.
