Jared Camins

Jared Camins is the current Chief Technical Officer at Talkiatry. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Patient Care Engineering at Lively from April 2020 to May 2021. In this role, they were responsible for providing comprehensive technical support to customers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that customer concerns were addressed in a timely manner.

Before their time at Lively, Camins worked as a Staff Software Engineer at Cityblock Health from February 2019 to April 2020. During their time there, they migrated the front-end of Zocdoc's flagship appointment booking site from a C#-based monolith to a modern, microservice-backed React/Redux web application. Jared also acted as the New York-based tech lead and point of contact for a new engineering team being established in Pune, India to support the needs of Zocdoc's enterprise clients and backoffice staff.

Some notable achievements during Camins' time at Cityblock Health include receiving the highest engineering team award (and company-wide recognition at annual all-hands) for mentoring and building relationships across teams, as well as co-leading the development and release of a new bookable directory front-end for Geisinger Health System.

Jared Camins has a MSLIS from Long Island University in Library and Information Science, a Master's Degree in Slavic Studies from NYU, and a BA in English Literature from The College of New Jersey. Jared also has certification from Cambridge University in Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults and Amazon Web Services in AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate Level.

Jared Camins reports to Robert Krayn, Co-Founder & CEO. They are on a team with Josh Kermisch - Chief Operating Officer, Georgia Gaveras - Co-Founder & Chief Medical Officer, and Alex Kozersky - Chief Growth Officer.
