Hannah Hobby, M.S. CCC-SLP has a diverse work experience in the field of speech-language pathology. Hannah started their career in 2016 as a Child Development Specialist at Hill Country Daily Bread Ministry. In 2015, they also worked as a Retail Sales Assistant at Anthropologie. In 2016, Hannah took on the role of Department Assistant at Baylor Speech and Hearing Clinic until 2018.
Hannah's professional growth continued at The University of Texas at Dallas, where they worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Graduate Assistant from 2019 to 2020. During the same period, they also served as a Graduate Student Clinician at UT Dallas Callier Center for Communication Disorders.
In 2020, Hannah began working as a Speech Language Pathologist in the Irving Independent School District. Hannah provided therapy to students ranging from K-12+ and conducted diagnostic evaluations and treatment as per eligibility criteria.
From 2021 to 2022, Hannah worked as a Speech Language Pathologist at Cantex, a skilled nursing facility that focused on safe discharge home for patients. Here, they collaborated with an interdisciplinary team to create individualized plans of care and administered diagnostic assessments to identify cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing deficits. Hannah also set functional goals to facilitate proper transitions for patients.
In 2022, Hannah took on the role of Assistant Director of Clinical Affairs at TalkPath Live, utilizing their expertise in speech-language pathology.
Most recently, in 2023, they joined Vanderbilt Stallworth Rehabilitation Hospital, Encompass Health as a Speech Language Pathologist on a PRN basis. Hannah collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized plans of care and administer diagnostic assessments to determine deficits in cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing. Hannah also sets functional goals to assist patients in transitioning to the next level of care.
Hannah Hobby, M.S. CCC-SLP, holds a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Pathologist from The University of Texas at Dallas, which they obtained from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, General from Baylor University from 2015 to 2018.
