Emanuele Melis

Emanuele Melis has an extensive work experience that spans over 14 years. In 2006, they started as a Customer Assistant at AirSub. In 2008, they worked as a Systems Installer at Impiantica SRL. In 2009, they worked as a Back Office Apprentice & Technical Sales Trainer/Advisor at Porta S.r.l. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Technology Consultant at various companies. In 2012, they worked as a Freelance Trainer at I.S.F.O.P. Formazione Professionale. In 2014, they worked as a Junior Consultant at QuantumKDB. From 2016 to 2022, they worked at First Derivative in various roles such as Vice President Engineering Services, Managing Consultant, Senior Consultant, and Consultant. Currently, they are a Principal Data Engineer at Talos.

Emanuele Melis obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Università degli Studi di Cagliari in 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Diploma in Computer and Information Science, General from I.T.I. Dionigi Scano in 2006. Emanuele also holds certifications from Confluent, PADI, and Trinity College London, including an Apache Kafka Open Source Immersive Program (2018), Divemaster (2006), and Level 9 of Spoken English B2 of Common European Framework (2005).
