Human Resources Generalist at Talus Pay

Katie Baker began their work experience in 2011 as an Employee Records Supervisor at Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health, where they stayed until 2018. In 2018, they joined VIVA Pediatrics Home Healthcare as a Payroll and Benefits Administrator and later transitioned to the role of Human Resources Manager. Katie eventually became a Senior Human Resources Manager, a position they held until their departure in 2022. Currently, they work at Talus Pay as a Human Resources Generalist.

Katie Baker's education history includes a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Human Resources Management and Services from Western Governors University, which they pursued from 2021 to 2024. Prior to that, they earned an Associate of Science (AS) degree in General Studies from Grayson County College from 2013 to 2016.

In addition to their degrees, Katie holds several certifications. In 2023, they obtained a Foundations of Leadership certificate from The National Society of Leadership and Success. Also in 2023, they received a WGU Human Resource Management Certificate and a WGU Strategic Thinking & Innovation Certificate from Canvas Credentials (Badgr). In 2022, they acquired certifications in ANE: New Investigative Procedures & Reporting, Employment Law, and Workplace Violence from the Home Care Information Network.

It is worth noting that Katie has also pursued further professional development and training. Katie has taken courses in Dealing with Difficult People, Human Resources Law Update, Microsoft Excel Basics, and Payroll Law, through Pryor Learning Solutions | Fred Pryor Seminars | CareerTrack, although the exact dates of completion are unknown.
