Vice President Of Life Sciences at Taman Safari Indonesia

Bongot Huaso Mulia Radjagoekgoek has a strong background in life sciences and veterinary work. Bongot Huaso Mulia started their career as a veterinarian at Taman Safari Indonesia in November 2007 and held this position until February 2021. Bongot Huaso Mulia then moved up within the company, becoming the Head of Research and Senior Veterinarian from an unknown start date to November 2022. From September 2019 to August 2023, they served as the Life Science Head of Animal Health. In November 2022, they became the Group Head of Life Sciences until August 2023, when they were promoted to Vice President of Life Sciences, a position they currently hold.

Aside from their work at Taman Safari Indonesia, Bongot Huaso Mulia Radjagoekgoek also had involvement with other organizations. Bongot Huaso Mulia served as an Expert Advisory Board member for Sumatran Rhino Rescue at IUCN since 2018. Bongot Huaso Mulia has also been a contributor to Wild Tiger Health Center.org since 2011. Additionally, Bongot Huaso Mulia Radjagoekgoek has taken on the important role of Komodo Dragon - International Studbook Keeper at the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA) since July 2009.

Bongot Huaso Mulia Radjagoekgoek obtained a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine degree from IPB University in 2005. They later pursued a degree in Veterinary Profession Education (Dokter Hewan/Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) at the same university from 2005 to 2007. In 2011, Bongot attended the University of Zurich to complete a Post Graduate in Zoological Medicine Course. More recently, from 2019 to 2021, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Reproductive Biology at IPB University.
