Ashley Hughes

Ashley Hughes is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in local government finance roles. Currently serving as the Director of Resources at Tameside Council since April 2023, Ashley previously held the position of Assistant Director of Finance at Barnet Council from April 2020 to April 2023, where responsibilities included overseeing financial management and major projects. Prior to this, Ashley was a Strategic Finance Manager at Westminster City Council, managing significant budgets within children’s services, and held various finance roles at Rhyl Town Council and Conwy County Borough Council.
