Kavya Shyam

Kavya Shyam is an emerging professional in the fields of private equity and consulting, currently serving as a Private Equity Intern at True North Search since February 2024 and a Consulting Team Member at TAMID at NYU since September 2023. Kavya has accumulated valuable experience in mathematics education as an Instructor at Mathnasium since January 2020. Previous roles include being an EDU Member and Mentorship Team Member at TAMID at NYU and NYU Blockchain & Fintech, respectively, where Kavya honed research, communication, and presentation skills. Prior internship experience includes a Leadership Internship at Synchrony, focusing on networking and storytelling within the financial services sector. Kavya is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Data Science at New York University, with an expected graduation date in May 2026.
