Alexander C. Huang

Alexander C. Huang serves as the Special Advisor to the Chairman and Director of International Affairs at KMT (Nationalist Party) in Taiwan since October 2021. Additionally, Alexander has held the position of Director at the Association of Foreign Relations (AFR) since November 2017 and serves as Chairman of the Council on Strategic & Wargaming Studies, a role initiated in August 2014. As a Professor of Strategy & Wargaming at Tamkang University since 2000, Alexander contributes to academia while also engaging in various roles, including Senior Associate at the Center for Strategic and International Studies and former Deputy Minister at the Mainland Affairs Council of Taiwan (2003-2004). Alexander’s extensive educational background includes a Ph.D. in International Relations from The George Washington University and multiple degrees in political science and strategic studies from renowned institutions.
