Kate Maple

Kate Maple has a diverse and extensive work experience in the travel and hospitality industry. Kate is currently the Director of Direct Supply and Partnerships - EU and N. America at TBO.com since July 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Supply Europe and North America at TBO.com from April 2021 to September 2022.

Before joining TBO.com, Kate had their own consultancy providing services to hotels and B2B travel providers to improve performance and direct sales. Kate started their consultancy in December 2020 and continues to work in this role.

Kate also has experience working as a Director at Reviews4you since December 2020.

Kate has previously worked at Hotelbeds as the Regional Manager London from January 2020 to November 2020, and as the Regional Manager - France and Monaco from March 2018 to January 2020.

Kate also had a notable role at GTA as the Area Sourcing Manager - France, Monaco, and Benelux from August 2016 to March 2018, where they achieved outstanding results in performance and revenue. Kate led a team and implemented global campaigns to increase sales for participating hotels. Kate was also involved in project teams and sourcing initiatives.

Prior to GTA, Kate worked at Kuoni Group, where they held the position of Area Sourcing Manager - Germany, Austria, and Switzerland from January 2012 to August 2016. Kate successfully managed supplier negotiations, integration processes, and achieved significant revenue growth in the Berlin region.

Kate's earlier experience includes various roles at GTA/Kuoni, including Area Sourcing Manager for Nordics, Baltics, and Benelux, Regional Manager, Contracts Manager for Eastern Europe, and Far East Group Reservations Supervisor.

Kate began their career as a Trainee at Sheraton Grand Hotel, Edinburgh, where they gained valuable operational experience in a 5-star hotel during their 6-month work placement, which was later extended.

Kate Maple attended Boroughmuir High School from 1988 to 1993. Kate then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Hospitality Management from Edinburgh Napier University from 1993 to 1997.
