Michael Martino CPA, MBA, MSA is an experienced finance professional with a substantial background in business planning and accounting. Currently serving as the Manager of Business Planning for Solar and Major Projects at Tampa Electric since April 2010, Michael oversees significant solar energy initiatives totaling over $1.8 billion. In addition to this role, Michael is a Professor of Accounting at the University of Tampa's John H. Sykes College of Business since January 2023. Previous positions include Manager of Accounting & Payroll at US Power Generating Company, where responsibilities included directing multiple departments and implementing accounting systems, and Systems Administrator/Financial Analyst at AKAM Living Services, Inc. Michael holds multiple degrees, including a Master’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Tampa, an MBA in Finance & Investments/Operations Management from Baruch College, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Auditing from Loyola University Maryland.
