Julio Granda

Julio Granda is an experienced library management professional currently serving as the Manager of Library Facilities and Safety for the Tampa-Hillsborough County Public Library since October 2013. In this role, Julio oversees safety procedures, manages extensive construction and renovation projects, and coordinates operations with various county departments. Julio has previously held positions as a Digital Collections Manager and Librarian 3 at the Miami-Dade Public Library System, where responsibilities included managing confidential research projects and leading a team in urban affairs. Julio's professional background also includes owning a construction business, managing human resources for a company with multi-state operations, and experience in customer service training. Julio holds a Master of Library & Information Science degree and a Master of Arts in Cultural Anthropology, both from Florida State University, in addition to a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Miami.
