David Delgado Vendrell

David Delgado Vendrell is the CEO and Consultant of DDV Solutions, a BIM consultancy founded in 2004 that focuses on implementing technology in both the public and private sectors throughout various stages of asset life-cycles. As a Technical Coordinator for buildingSMART Spain since 2019, David oversees technical aspects of projects and workshops on openBIM standards, while also serving as a Board member and Vice President in the Design sector of buildingSMART. David is a member of the UNE - Asociación Española de Normalización's CTN-UNE 332 Committee and a lecturer at multiple institutions including UPC School and South Mediterranean University, specializing in BIM-related subjects. Additional roles include Technical Advisor and Reviewer for buildingSMART International Awards and a collaboration with Tana, Inc. David's educational background includes a Master of Architecture and several postgraduate degrees in architecture and sustainable planning from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and La Salle BCN.
