Leonard Mulei is a seasoned professional in agricultural research with a focus on gender and nutrition across various African countries. Currently serving as a Research Associate at Tanager since June 2023, Leonard contributes to diverse research assignments and collaborates with stakeholders from private, public, and non-governmental organizations. Previously, from June 2018 to May 2020, Leonard held the position of Senior Officer for Research and Programs at World Agroforestry, where key contributions were made to empower women in agricultural science through effective stakeholder collaboration. Prior experience includes a role as Research Assistant at the International Livestock Research Institute from October 2013 to June 2017, focusing on policy research related to gender and agricultural trade, while also implementing the CAADP M&E framework. Leonard holds a Master of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Statistics, both obtained from the University of Nairobi.
