Nick Braban

Head of Hospitality & Partnerships at Tanda

Nick Braban has held a number of roles in the hospitality industry since 2008. Nick began their career as Director of Barsoma, where they and their partner Jodie crafted a niche for the music they loved. In 2013, Nick successfully negotiated the sale of Barsoma and consulted with the new owners to create Chilliwow, Brisbane's first Mexican themed bar. That same year, they joined the board of Chaplainwatch and was elected Chairman of the Valley Liquor Accord. In 2015, they were appointed Secretary of Our Nightlife Queensland. In 2016, they became a Consultant for Revelry Entertainment (The Met, The GPO Hotel). In 2018, they took on the role of General Manager for Celissa, an expansive hospitality group based in Brisbane, Australia. In 2021, they were appointed Partnerships Manager for Tanda.

Nick Braban received a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Biotechnology from Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in 2003. Prior to that, they attended St Joseph's College, Gregory Terrace from 1998 to 2001.
