Monica Whitfield

Monica Whitfield has extensive experience in the Louisiana workforce development sector, currently serving as a WIOA Counselor for Tangipahoa Parish Government since April 2004. Previous roles at the LA Workforce Commission include Client Service Manager and LA WIA-20 Intake Specialist/Youth Program Manager. Prior to this, Monica served as Clerk Chief II at the Louisiana State Penitentiary from July 2002 to February 2004, functioning as a Mental Health Secretary. Monica holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Northwestern State University, completed in August 2002, and is a graduate of West Feliciana High School.
