Reporting to the Co-founder COO/CMO, the Head of Demand Generation will be a critical part of our GTM team and our growth efforts, owning the demand generation program within marketing and working closely with Sales, Ops, and Product. This role balances strategic leadership and hands-on execution, making it an excellent opportunity for a data-driven, results-oriented marketer.

Growth at Tango today is fueled by a product-led motion, word of mouth, content marketing, and social programs. Increasingly, growth in the future will be fueled by an ability to reach leaders in IT, Operations, and L&D through "traditional" channels including: field marketing, paid acquisition through LinkedIn and Google ads, webinars, outbound, account-based marketing campaigns, and partner marketing.

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in B2B demand-gen and lead-gen, with a history of meeting lead and opportunity commitments and owning a revenue number
  • Successful relevant experience working in early-stage SaaS environments (Seed or Series A)
  • Able to hit the ground running, with a strong understanding of B2B sales cycles for mid-market and enterprise SaaS ($30k – 150k ACV) and Account-based marketing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong technology and analytics skills, including comfort with A/B testing
  • A motivated self-starter who thrives in high performance, hands-on and fast-moving team environments.
  • A "player-coach" mindset with a capacity to both initiate and run programs initially but also coach others and scale the function over time

Desirable

  • Familiarity with HubSpot
  • Track record marketing into IT, Ops, and/or L&D buyers
  • Experience scaling Demand Gen programs within PLG companies
  • An early career in Sales

This role will include competitive pay with a target compensation range of $170-$220k in addition to equity.
