Fergal Brennan

Fergal Brennan's work experience includes holding the position of Head of Engineering (IoT) at Taoglas since October 2021 and serving as a Hardware Engineering Manager at the same company from November 2020 to October 2021. Prior to this, they worked at CathxOcean as a Hardware Engineering Manager from April 2012 to November 2020, where they were responsible for developing sub-sea imaging and laser systems. Fergal also worked at Ash Technologies Ltd as a Senior Design Engineer from October 2004 to April 2012 and at Institute of Technology Tallaght as an Associate Lecturer since April 2006.

Fergal Brennan holds a Master's degree in Internet of Things (IoT) from Dublin City University, which they pursued from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they completed a Micro Masters program in Design Thinking from edX in 2018. In 2006, they obtained a MENG degree in Electronic Systems from Dublin City University. Fergal began their education in 1998 at Technological University Dublin, where they earned a BENG (HONS) degree in Electronic Engineering in 2001.
