Maggie Rosado van der Gracht has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Maggie is currently working at Tapas Media as the Spanish Content Lead. Prior to this, they worked as a Freelance Translator and Interpreter in their own business since 2010.

From 2021 to 2022, Maggie worked at Lionbridge Technologies as a Localization Specialist, where they were responsible for proofreading, editing, localization, and copywriting for a Fortune 100 software company. Maggie also conducted quality assurance testing and adapted copy in Castilian Spanish for different markets.

Before that, Maggie worked at Yucatán Today from 2019 to 2021 as an Editor, overseeing the creation of content for a monthly print magazine, website, and social media platforms. Maggie also worked as an Assistant Editor for the same company from 2019, composing editorials, proofreading and editing articles, and translating between English and Spanish.

From 2010 to 2017, they served as an Academic Coordinator at TTTAC, where they assisted international students and managed partnerships with international institutions. Prior to that, they worked as a Visitor Counsellor at Tourism Vancouver from 2009 to 2010, providing visitor information in multiple languages and managing a visitor kiosk during the 2010 Winter Olympics.

Maggie also had the role of International Programs Coordinator at TTTAC from 2007 to 2008, where they assisted international students and facilitated communication with international partners. Overall, Maggie has gained extensive experience in various aspects of content creation, translation, interpretation, and international coordination.

Maggie Rosado van der Gracht has a diverse education history. Maggie began their academic journey by obtaining a Bachelor of Modern Languages, with a focus on English Language and French Language, from TTTAC in the years 2003 to 2007. Following this, they pursued a Diploma in Tourism Management at Capilano University for the duration of 2009 to 2010, specializing in Tourism and Travel Services Management. Continuing their education, they completed a Master of Applied Psychology in Organizational Change at Universidad Autonoma de Yucatan from 2010 to 2012, with a specific focus on Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Most recently, they obtained a Master of Translation Competencies from TTTAC between the years 2016 and 2018, specializing in Language Interpretation and Translation.
