Whitney Lauren Han

Whitney Lauren Han has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Whitney Lauren is currently working at Tapas Media as a Content Operations Lead since July 2023. Prior to that, they were a Content Operations Associate at Tapas Media from December 2021 to July 2023.

Before joining Tapas Media, Whitney worked at Southern California Media Group, where they held the position of Digital Manager from May 2020 to December 2021. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the company's digital presence across three markets and managing digital campaigns.

Whitney also worked as a Social Media, Events, & Circulation Manager at Southern California Media Group from August 2017 to May 2020. In this role, they managed content creation for the Orange County market and drove circulation through targeted initiatives.

Prior to their time at Southern California Media Group, Whitney gained experience as a Marketing & Public Relations Intern at Oregon State University from March 2017 to June 2017. Whitney Lauren supported the digital and marketing efforts of FIRST!, a federally-funded education program for first-generation college students, and managed the program's website and designed print materials.

Additionally, Whitney worked as a Website Content Manager and Event Staff at The LaSells Stewart Center at Oregon State University from October 2015 to June 2017. Whitney Lauren played a key role in website development and assisted with the management of performing arts and conference facilities.

During their time at Oregon State University, they also co-founded and established a chapter of Spoon University, an online food publication for college students, by college students, on campus. Whitney Lauren served as the Editorial Director from January 2017 to June 2017, overseeing the editorial team and contributing to content creation.

Whitney's earlier experiences include working as an Editorial Staff Member at OSU Prism Magazine from May 2014 to February 2016, where they reviewed student submissions and contributed their own works to the magazine. Whitney Lauren also worked as a Writer, Editor, Photographer, and Public Relations Team Member at Beaver's Digest from September 2014 to June 2015, where they wrote published stories, reviewed articles, took photos, and managed social media platforms.

Whitney Lauren Han obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Digital Communication Arts as their major and pursued a minor in Business and Entrepreneurship at Oregon State University from 2013 to 2017. Prior to their university education, they received their High School Diploma from Northwood High School between 2009 and 2013.

Additionally, Whitney has obtained several certifications from LinkedIn. In September 2021, they completed the following courses: "Improve SEO for Your Website," "Learning YouTube SEO," "Marketing Tools: SEO," and "Marketing: Copywriting for Social Media."
