Gregory Parsons

Gregory Parsons is currently the Head of Engineering at Tapcart, a position they have held since May 2019. Prior to that, they were a Principal Engineer at Deutsch LA from March 2012 to May 2019, where they worked cross-functionally with Design, Creative, and Engineering to build platforms for brands such as Volkswagen and Esurance. At Deutsch LA, Gregory also mentored software developers, planned projects, and provided client updates.

During their time at Deutsch LA, Gregory worked on some notable projects, including the Volkswagen Next Generation Architecture, where they migrated their web platform to AWS, updated their deployment tools, and modernized the project planning and delivery process. Gregory also worked on the Siemens Mindsphere project, where they built a model city that could be tracked via IoT devices and broadcast their data and video directly onto the homepage of their website. Other notable projects include VW Dealers and VW Inventory.

Gregory Parsons completed an ICAM Vis Arts degree at UC San Diego in Visual Arts.

Their manager is Eric Netsch, Founder & CEO. They are on a team with Bobby Cooper - VP, Customer Success, Parth Thakkar - Head of Data, and Emmy Manoonpol - Director of Program Management.
