Frans van Hoogstraten

Frans van Hoogstraten has a diverse work experience, with their most recent role being at TAPP as the Co-Founder and CFO. In this position, they were responsible for rebuilding the company's accounting structure, creating accurate financial models, and implementing a standardized reporting structure. Frans successfully raised over €4 million euros from external investors and managed a budget of over €3 million euros. Frans also played a key role in seeking investors and strategic partners to support TAPP's international growth.

Prior to their role at TAPP, Frans was the Co-Founder and CTO, where they oversaw all technical aspects of the business. Frans implemented the necessary infrastructure to make vital information easily accessible to clients. As the company expanded, they transitioned into a financial role and appointed another CTO.

Before TAPP, Frans worked as a Technical Solutions Manager at NEWCRAFT in 2014, where they led a rapid development team. Frans also gained experience as a Consultant at Squarewise for the first half of 2014. In their early career, Frans worked as a Technology Consultant at Mieloo & Alexander from 2011 to 2013, specializing in solutions design and systems integration. Their responsibilities included designing and implementing process optimization solutions that incorporated RFID technology.

Frans van Hoogstraten completed their pre-university education, known as VWO, at Maerlant Lyceum from 1994 to 2001. Frans then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Physics from Delft University of Technology, starting in 2002 and graduating in 2010. Frans continued their education at Delft University of Technology, where they earned a Master of Science degree in Sustainable Energy Technology from 2008 to 2010.
