Chris Gkikas

Chris Gkikas has a diverse work experience. Chris currently holds the position of Machine Learning Engineer at Tarabut Gateway, where they started in February 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Vector.ai from July 2020 to January 2022 as a Machine Learning Engineer, contributing to the company's Series A funding and gaining expertise in NLP tasks. Before that, they worked at Liopa as a Research and Development Engineer from September 2019 to July 2020, where they focused on Audio-Visual speech recognition and trained speech recognition models from scratch. Chris also had a role as a Research and Development Intern during their time at Liopa from March 2019 to September 2019. Chris has prior experience as a Cyber Security Analyst at Telephonaki and as a Software Engineer at Taxaki, both in 2018. Chris also worked as a System and Network Administrator at Sparta Gourmet from June 2018 to March 2019.

Chris Gkikas pursued their education in a systematic manner, starting with their primary education at the 1st High School of Agios Ioannis Rentis - "Alexandros Papadiamantis". Chris attended this public high school from 2012 to 2015. After completing their secondary education, they continued their academic journey at the University of Peloponnese. From 2015 to 2019, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, specializing in this field of study.
