Yakov Vilenchik has an extensive work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Yakov started their career at IBM in 2006, working as a QA Engineer and later as an Automation Developer. During this time, they were responsible for planning and executing manual and automatic tests for IBM Sametime server, as well as developing automation systems using Perl, Batch scripting, Shell scripting, and STAF/STAX for deployment and configuration. Yakov also developed automation systems for creating new VMWare virtual machines using Perl and VMWare API.

In 2014, Yakov joined IBM (Trusteer) as a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer and later as a QA Engineer. In these roles, they wrote test descriptions and executed tests, wrote C++ scripts to generate attacks on a product, and developed an automated tool using C# for product installation, updates, and management.

In 2017, Yakov transitioned to the role of Automation Engineer at IBM, where they focused on developing automatic tests for IBM Connections Server and IBM WebSphere Portal Server search services using Java, Junit, and Selenium.

In 2018, Yakov joined Localize.city as an Automation Developer, where they developed an automation infrastructure from scratch using TypeScript and WebdriverIO. Yakov also wrote automation tests to verify the website's functionality on desktop and mobile devices.
