Elsa Runquist

Elsa Runquist is a skilled medical assistant at TAREEN DERMATOLOGY since June 2022, with a strong background in biology and research. Previously, Elsa worked as an undergraduate student researcher in the W.M. Keck Science Department, focusing on parasite intensity and immune system implications under Dr. Sarah Budischak. Notable contributions include developing a microbial killing assay protocol related to deer mice eco-immunology and conducting a meta-analysis on host-parasite thermal ecology. Elsa presented research findings at the 8th Annual Southwest Regional Meeting of Organismal Biologists and held a VI4 Artist-in-Residence Fellowship at Vanderbilt University, exploring the intersection of art and science.
