Ronnie Holland has over 17 years of work experience in various engineering roles. In their most recent position at TARGAN Inc., Ronnie serves as the Senior Director of Engineering, specializing in Factory Automation & Systems Engineering. They are responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of systems, from conceptualization to market introduction, and ensuring alignment with customer demands. Ronnie leads a versatile team and advises executive leadership on tailored marketing strategies.

Prior to TARGAN Inc., Ronnie worked as the Director of Research & Development at Aquamar Inc. Here, they led a multi-disciplinary team in product development and process design. Ronnie successfully managed the acquisition of a competitor, Shining Ocean, by negotiating favorable deal terms and ensuring a smooth transition.

Ronnie also has experience as the Director of Engineering at American Meat Companies, where they designed and implemented a greenfield meat processing facility. At Tyson Foods, Ronnie served as the Senior Manager of Engineering, overseeing capital projects and leading cross-functional teams in process design and safety initiatives.

Before that, Ronnie worked as a Process/Reliability Engineer at PMG Inc., providing consulting services for various clients in process design and operations structure. They also worked as a Manufacturing Engineering Manager at Union Tank Car Company, leading automated and robotic manufacturing processes, and as a Plant Engineer at Dicar Inc., managing product development and process improvement projects.

Ronnie's early career includes roles as a Chief Engineer at Hostess Brands, where they led capital projects and managed the reliability maintenance department, and as a Boilermaker at the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers.

Ronnie Holland began their education journey in 2004 at Penn Foster Group, where they earned an Associate's Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology. In 2006, they attended the Project Management Institute and obtained a Project Management Professional Certification. Continuing their studies, they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at the University of North Dakota from 2007 to 2012. In 2016, Ronnie enrolled at the Cockrell School of Engineering, The University of Texas at Austin, where they obtained a Master of Science in Engineering Management in 2018.

Ronnie further expanded their knowledge and skills by attending George Brown College from 2018 to 2019, where they achieved an Automation Technician Certification in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering.

To complement their education, Ronnie has also acquired various certifications. Ronnie completed the Robot Systems Integrator certification offered by the Robotic Industries Association in 2017. Additionally, they obtained the Quality Management Foundations certification from LinkedIn in 2020 and Project Management Foundations: Quality certification from the same institution in 2021. Ronnie has expressed interest in obtaining the AIB Reliability Engineer Certified, FE Certification, Facility Management Professional Certification, Project Management Professional, and Six Sigma Green Belt Certification, although information regarding the months and years of achievement for these certifications is not available.
